This application reads license plates from British Columbia in Canada right on your iPhone or iPad (nothing goes to a server).
It can check a license plate against a list held on your iPhone or you can store a list of license plates.
The plates are stored in a file called PlateList.txt that you can edit via iTunes FileSharing.
When a plate is added to the list the time and date are recorded too.
This is a great tool for managing event parking or keeping track of who is parking in your street.
